About the Author

Email address.

hails from southern Florida, where he was raised by herpetologist and naturalist parents in an environment of exotic fauna and flora. His experience with reptiles and amphibians began in early childhood and his favorites among that herpetofaunal group are the crocodilians which, as habitats' 'keystone' species, are where his efforts are concentrated. In addition to his work in the husbandry and training of these reptiles, he has spent more than a decade teaching about crocodilians and other animals and promoting conservation endeavors on television and Internet media and in live appearance progamming. His areas of zoological specialty are ethology (animal psychology), human-wildlife conflict and public conservation education.
